Itinerary

Day 1 ~ Discover Chianti, Montefioralle, Bread making and Pizza Class

Morning pick-up

Lunch, Tour & Taste at a Family-owned Winery sampling the

real “cucina chiantigiana”.

Off to visit the picturesque village of Montefioralle

Check-in at farmhouse and enjoy as afternoon of breadmaking with Beppe!

Welcome the evening with a Pizza Party at the farmhouse!

 

Day 2 ~ Chestnut festival in Marradi + Mugello

Spend a wonderful day in Marradi a mountain Village in the Mugello area

Taste the marrons glaces (candied Chestnuts)

Enjoy a festival day exploring food stands with traditional foods

Dinner at the farmhouse

 

Day 3 ~ Hands on Cooking Class + Panzano in Chianti

and the Golden Valley

Our day begins with a fun and delicious hands-on cooking course in

a beautiful country home

All ingredients are fresh directly from the farm which stands

on a beautiful hilltop

The class will be complete with a beautiful “saffron” inspired

lunch tasting with all the recipes we just prepared

“Cook it and then eat it!”

Then off to the lovely Chianti Village of Panzano

Learn all about the golden valley and its dreamy views

Dinner out sampling amazing recipes

 

Day 4 ~ Monteriggioni + Tuscan Winery + Siena

Visit to the stunning Medieval castle of Monteriggioni, hear stories and

enjoy the shops and Piazza

Then visit a family-owned winery specializing in Vin Santo,

(Holy Wine) dessert wine

Tour the Vinsantaia and the historical cellar followed by a homemade lunch

and tasting of delicious wines in front of an incredible view

Experience SIENA and its charming traditions at the Piazza del Campo, various Districts, the famous Duomo and their historical stories

Taste expresso and the savor delectable sweets!

Dinner out ~ sampling amazing recipes

 

Day 5 ~ Artisanal Pasta + Olive Oil with Harvest Lunch + Chianti Villages

Exciting morning visit to an Artisanal Pasta workshop ~ learn all about the art of this Italian Cuisine

Visit a virgin olive oil producer in Chianti with a guided tour of the mill

Followed by a perfect lunch experience with delicious specialties

paired with Olive oil

Off to Greve, a delightful town to enjoy the shops and piazza

Dinner at the farmhouse

 

Day 6 ~ Truffle Experience+ Certaldo + San Gimignano

Our journey continues with a unique truffle hunt in the forest

with great stories and curiosities

We start in the fields and end up in the Kitchen!

Enjoy a truffle-themed lunch with renowned chefs

Afterward we head off to a relaxing walk in the medieval village of Certaldo

Stop at a pottery workshop to find wonderful gifts for family and friends

Complete the day with a visit to the famous 40 tower town of San Gimignano

Leisure time to stroll through the unique village of San Gimignano

Don’t forget to try their famous Gelato, “the best gelato in the world”  

Back to farmhouse to rest before dinner

Dinner out at our favorite trattoria, “hands down,” the most amazing homemade pasta ever

 

Day 7 ~ Pecorino Cheese + Volterra + Alabaster

Visit a family-owned goat cheese farm see the stable and goats

Followed by a cheese tasting themed lunch paired with locally made wine

Head out to the Medieval town of Volterra

Take a photo with the famous sculpture “The Ring” created by Artist Straccioli

Tour the village and Alabaster workshop after walking through the charming alley ways

Dinner at the farmhouse

                       

Day 8~ Arrivederci Amici’s

                                                    

We will transfer you back to Florence, ciao a tutti!
